MICHAEL EHLERS
“As an artist today, it becomes increasingly important to
understand all aspects of art both current and past. I have found the key to a
quality arts education to be attention to building a strong foundation.
Classical technique, attention to detail, persistence, inspiration, and respect
- all this I experienced while developing myself technically, intellectually,
and artistically at SISA. This strong foundation has given me the tools to
explore my craft and create anything I desire. Many arts students in the world
have talent, but to be fortunate to have a supporting environment with high
expectations creating results that are not only visible, but also felt by the
student - that is unique. This is more important than anything else: a sense of
pride and accomplishment with a curiosity and desire to continue further.”
